BRIDGE INSTITUTE at the USC Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience is world leading in its interdisciplinary approach to achieve a new level of understanding of the human body in states of illness, injury and health. Humanity’s greatest health challenges are difficult because they lie at the intersection of multiple disciplines and they require the integration and convergence of data in vast quantities. The Bridge Institute is overcoming these obstacles by bridging the sciences, engineering, medicine, and arts. Building a culture of convergent discovery and practice of considering how our data could make an impact outside of our specific questions will transform the way scientific research is conducted, promote the development of new ways of managing and sharing data and accelerate innovation.
